Aviation Detailing Association

This project with the Aviation Detailing Association centered on producing a full library of professional training content for their online certification and education platform. I traveled to Houston to plan, film, and produce a series of 20 instructional videos designed to teach real-world aircraft detailing techniques to detailers looking to enter or advance within the aviation space.

The production was built around creating clear, structured education that translates well to an online course format. Each module focuses on a specific part of the detailing process covering proper tool use, product application, workflow, and safety considerations unique to aircraft surfaces and materials. The goal wasn’t just to document the process, but to present it in a way that feels organized, professional, and easy for students to follow whether they’re watching in a hangar, shop, or at home.

Filming took place in an active aviation environment, which meant building a production approach that could adapt to real working conditions. Lighting, camera movement, and shot structure were designed to keep the focus on the techniques being demonstrated while still maintaining a polished and consistent visual standard across the entire training series. Close detail shots, wider instructional angles, and supporting visuals were all captured to help reinforce each step of the process.

The final result is a scalable training library that the Aviation Detailing Association can use as the foundation of their online course program. The content provides a professional learning experience for members while giving the ADA a long-term educational asset they can continue to build on as the program grows.

Because much of the material inside the course is exclusive to enrolled ADA members, this page showcases the project through an introductory overview video along with select screenshots pulled from the training modules. These stills give a sense of the production quality, visual structure, and learning format without revealing protected course content.
