Monolithic Brewing - Watermelon Shandy
This project with Monolithic Brewing centered around the launch of their limited Watermelon Shandy — a seasonal drop built for hot days and quick sell-through.
The goal was to create visuals that felt refreshing, bright, and moment-driven without leaning cliché. We wanted the beer to look as crisp as it tastes. That meant dialing in condensation, natural highlights through the glass, and color contrast that let the watermelon tones stand out without oversaturating the frame.
Creative direction balanced clean product focus with laid-back summer energy. Hero can shots were paired with lifestyle setups, cracked open cans, poured pints catching light, and subtle environmental cues that suggest backyard hangs and late afternoon heat. Nothing overly staged. Just real, approachable moments that feel like how the beer is actually enjoyed.
Execution mixed controlled lighting for sharp product detail with natural light setups to keep everything airy and seasonal. The final image set gives Monolithic a versatile launch library built for announcement posts, taproom promos, limited release pushes, and evergreen summer content all while keeping a consistent, recognizable look tied to the brand.
